What Happens When the Connection Fails?

🔒 Security Tip of the Week:

Choose one category of connected equipment in your environment that isn’t a traditional computer or server. Find out how it’s managed, what network access it has, who can connect to it remotely and what happens if that connectivity is compromised or completely unavailable. The goal isn’t just to understand whether the device is protected. Understand what happens to the physical process if the protection fails.

📌 This Week’s Outlook in a Shareable Statement:

As more physical systems become connected, Security failures can increasingly become operational failures. Good architecture should protect the technology, limit the impact when something goes wrong and preserve a safe way to operate when the digital controls aren’t available.
